Close Encounters Of The Equine Kind
A group of curious horses graze next to students as they sort through soil for pottery, shells, animal bones, and other archaeological items. During the spring of 2017 a group of University of Winnipeg students participated in an archaeological field school at the Kent Taíno site on Spanish Hill in Trelawny, Jamaica. The area is currently pastureland for a herd of horses and cattle that would visit the students while they worked.
