Fifteen minutes to sum up four lives? A tall order. But in September 2025 I set to the task, introducing GCS’ oral history resource, What They Can Teach Us (German: Was sie uns lehren können) to fellow C1 students during a month-long course at the University of Freiburg, Germany.
