Mr. & Mrs. Bob & Joy Antenbring established the Antenbring Family Bursary to provide support to The University of Winnipeg Collegiate students, or to those applying to The University of Winnipeg Collegiate, who demonstrate financial need.

This bursary will be awarded to a student at the Model School at The University of Winnipeg Collegiate who demonstrates financial need. The bursary is renewable for three additional years. Lorraine Beck is an ’86 UWinnipeg graduate raised by hard-working parents who instilled the importance of education in their children despite leaving school at a young age. Craig McIntosh believes in education and earned his B.Comm, CMA and FCMA. He grew up in Virden and followed his childhood entrepreneurial dream by acquiring and building a successful plastics company. The couple encourages their children, Kaitlyn and Thomas, to recognize the value of learning. They wish to help others overcome their barriers by helping them on their journey, so they too can use the power of education to build a career of their choice, and participate fully in their community.

The Collegiate 150 Scholarships are offered in commemoration of The Collegiate’s 150th Anniversary to the top twenty students entering grades 9-12 with the highest averages over 85%.

The Collegiate Alumni Association Endowment Fund will be used to create new alumni programs, events and activities designed to nourish alumni pride and enhance affiliation with the Collegiate. It will also help build and sustain a strong and active Association in perpetuity. Any unused funds at year end will be directed to a Collegiate Award priority of the Association’s choosing.

This Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic excellence and financial need to students entering Grade 10, Grade 11, and /or Grade 12 in The University of Winnipeg Collegiate.

Awarded annually to the full-course student who achieves the highest standing in Grade 11, and who has completed at least four credits in the Fall/Winter Regular Session.

For donations to fund Collegiate Facilities and Capital Projects.

This Scholarship will be awarded to the new full course Grade 11 student with the highest standing in a complete Grade 10 program.

Bursary for full Collegiate tuition is to be awarded on the recommendation of the Dean of Collegiate to a student with special needs.

Presented to a graduating Grade 12 student who has made outstanding contributions to The University of Winnipeg Collegiate.
