Smiling Antiprotons

A parabolic dip is shown on a screen on an electronic device. Many others like it along with wires fill the background.

On the surface it looks inconsequential, but the electrical signal displayed represents the human effort to contain antimatter! This signal represents several antiprotons inside of the antimatter factory at CERN, in Geneva, Switzerland. This is the only place in the world where low energy antiprotons are produced and stored.
